Add icons to menu bar on homescreen?

Good Evening all!

How do I change/add different icons/apps to the menu bar at the bottom of the zte blade homescreen?

I have tried but cannot figure it out.

If you press it long enough, you get a blank bar, but all the other default icons vanish.

Any ideas?

Are you using the Stock android loader? I dont think it allows for custom icons to be added, Try getting Launcher Pro from the market, It allows for 3 pages of custom icons, the paid version unlocks more

I have the san fran custom r4,

I want to change the icons on the home screen menu bar, at present it has contacts, apps, and internet.

I want to add dialer....

any help?

I agree with Teh H4rRy, load Launcher Pro, does exactly what you want, and feels smoother to use as well. It's free, so try it.
