Guest Hakan54 Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 I have recently flashed my pulse with the custom rom of CM version 6.1. I have downloaded en fallowed the instructions from here and, yes i have also installed a2sd. I made partions of my microsd 8gb ( 64 swap, 512 ext2 and the remaining was 7.3 somthing like that. But know i have got i problem, i installed a couple of games and apps and my phone tellss me that there is no storage left. So i checked with ubuntu and all my apps are installed in ext2 and there is still a lot of space, but my phone says it is full. Does someone know about this bug/problem or did i something wrong while following the instructions. My english is not great, but i hope that someone can help me with this problem.
Guest gocegi Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) if your card is class 6 or higher, you might want to consider to move your dalvik cache to sd card. Cause when you install games and apps, part of them goes to the dalvik cache which is located on your phone/internal memory. By moving it to the sd card, you won't get any "low storage" warnings. Cheers and here is how to do that: Type these in the "Terminal Emulator" app. Best to type "su" then the return key before using these commands a2sd cachesd Moves the Davlik cache to the SD card (Davik Cache contains all the apps Cache and User Data) a2sd cachepart Moves the Davlik cache back to internal memory (Davik Cache contains all the apps Cache and User Data) Edited November 13, 2010 by gocegi
