Bug: ActiveSync does not show categories on first sync

SYMPTOM:

When first setting up syncing with outlook, it is not possible to select which "Categories" should be sync'd. On first sync, it syncs them all.

After the first sync, the categories are listed (all checked).

Unchecking them does then remove those entries from the phone.

RESOLUTION:

Yeah, I know this is a pain. I only sync contacts in one category, and since the 1.6 update I've had to set the partnership up a few times (phone resetting to factory etc).

I found that the best thing to do is, when setting up the new partnership, select only to "Sync the following contacts" (middle option I think). Then sync the phone. It does nothing with the contacts on either your device or desktop, but then you can go back in and change it to certain categories.

Try it.
