MP3 to WAV

Hi,

Would someone suggest a program to convert MP3 to WAV, I've been looking around and all the links seem to lead to dead ends and fake programs.

Old versions of Winamp are able to do it also..I use v1.50...

Open up winamp

right click to bring up the menu.

Options - Preferences - Output

Change the output device to .WAV file output (silent)

Now apply that.

Now when ever you play an MP3 using this version of winamp a WAV copy of the file will be saved to your desktop.

takes 2 minutes to set up(once its set up its setup for good) and then only 2 seconds to convert.

the best program i've ever come accross for this is dbpoweramp

it's a free program that allows you to convert a file to wav or to change the bitrate of an MP3 just by right-clicking on the file!
