Help me please!!!

Ok been trying to sort out my gf's SF by cleaning off the orange stuff which I did but now the phone seems to be slowing down and freezing which isn't normal as there isn't any real load on it.

I thought that a Custom or even Stock ROM would be the answer after reading that it can clear the problem. Problem I have now though is that when I did all the Command Prompt bit for rooting and Clockworkmod I get a different list under it that give me options rather that just saying 'OKAY' like all the guides say on here.

I also had this problem when I tried rooting as well, I ended up going with Universal Androot to get around the problem.

Thing is I think that because of this command prompt thing Clockworkmod doesn't work properly, I can get into the recovery mod by using Quickboot and I can see the custom ROM zip but it won't select it when I press 'menu' or for that matter any of the other options within recovery mod.

I can't get into recovery mod via volume down and power button as I end up getting this image saying FTM within a white square and black surround - I then have to remove the battery to get out of this.

Can someone help as I've looked over this forum and the net trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong but seem to be getting no where!

As the help text suggests in response to your invalid command, there should be a space between "flash" and "recovery".

Yeah I tried that with the space between and it comes up 'cannot load'

I might have sorted the problem, got the OKAY bit in command prompt by moving the fastboot folder.

Problem solved...thanks just bouncing it off someone helped.
