(solved)need step by step guide to update the rom from recovery (amon ra2.0)

Hi, I'm new to the nexus one world, I've some problems to update my new (used) nexus, I've followed all guides for unlock boot and flash recovery, but I'm not good to update my device, I have 2 different error, with zip file renamed it tells me It can't open (bad), with zip file with original name, it tells me it haven't signature.

What have I to do?

My rom actually is EPF30.

toggle signature verify off in recovery (under 'other' iirc), then the unsigned zip should flash.

I would double check the md5 first though

Ok, first thing done, but with no result, I can try md5, but I don't know how it works..

Is theren't a rom archive here on modaco?

EDIT: Well, I seems to have a problem now, I've re downloaded a frf50 with another pc, then flashed, everything seemed to gone fine, but now I have a boot loop, I've done a nandroid and I think I can revert to eclair, but I'd like to know if I had to do a mid step from EPF30 to FRF50....

I think the best thing you can do is read around the subject before you try and flash anything else. Search here and XDA. There are plenty of guides.

Did you wipe first? Seriously, read around the subject.

Ups.. I didn't wipes...

I'searched a guide, but I haven't see any mention about wipes, only about how to flash.

Anyway thanks, i retry after found another guide....
