Guest mitchgixer6 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Hi all, Newbie alert, only had the phone for a week. Thanks to ALL on here for helping me make my decision to buy as well as providing the usual wealth of knowledge. I have rooted using Universal Androot, and have installed ROM manager from the market. Through ROM Manager I installed the Clockwork mod. However when I try and boot into recovery mode I just get the green guy on a loop unitl I let go if the volume down. Also will not work when rebotting through the ROM manager. I'm trying to install the Desire theme to give me the black notification bar, nothing too taxing? Not confident enough for a ROM yet. Any (further) help greatly appreciated. Michael

I don't think you can install the Blade Clockworkmod with ROM Manager - see the pinned topic on how to flash Clockworkmod with fastboot - that should sort you out.

Guest mitchgixer6 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 OK, got Clockwork working. Cheers for the help. I'm planning on installing the Expresso Framework posted on here by Rem1x in order to gain the black notification bar. I was about to do this from the Clockwork Mod, but then got the message "This cannot be undone" and chickened out! Don't want to flash this if there is a risk I can't revert to the stock theme. Is this the case? I have backed up through Clockwork already. Can I restore if I don't like the new theme? Also, is it possible to update the notification bar only? Cheers
