Guest oli949 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Hi. I wanted to root my orange san francisco and tried to use universal androot but it would not work. i then tried using an app call x10 root which i found online. i ran it and it told me to reboot but i still dont know whether my phone is rooted or not. it installed something called superuser permission in the menu.now i want to basically undo everything i did, so i uninstalled the x10 root, but cant uninstall the superuser permission. with the universal androot it keep on saying parse error; there is a problem parsing the package. can anyone help? i just want to get the phone back to the way it was when i bought it. thanks
Guest cobalt01 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Download the following file. Now drag it to your SD card, download a app installer from the market, install it and then open it. All's got to do is press Unroot and it should remove superuser.

Guest rayraven Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Try rooting it again with Universal Androot[the app you just downloaded] and then unroot. I had that issue a couple of times, when helping out friends.
