According to swedish android site Swedroid.se the Zte Blade is gojng to be sold in Sweden by swedish mobile provider Telia.

Selling start probably next week.

http://www.swedroid.se/telia-borjar-salja-...lager-i-veckan/

So if you're Swedish and don't have the Blade yet, go get it!

Hopefully this will be a newer rom on, Swedish providers are not known to change the roms of their phones from stock. So this will hopefully have the wifi fixed. Lets keep our fingers crossed and waite for someone at swedroid.se to grab one of these and dump the rom.

I think it would be wise to make CERTAIN of the detailed specs before answering!

Currently, it is believed that the Hungarian market is getting the Chinese spec (different screen, less ram, different battery) but with 2.1

And the Japanese advert (2.2 coming mid-December) showed a different camera ...

The Blade family is getting many modular variations.

Has anyone seen actual Swedish product yet?

I think is also worth adding to the WiKi. Also, why is ZTE doing this ? This making the ROM market for the ZTE Blade very fragmented !

Here are the specs from the operators official web site (might look a bit crappy as just made a really quick translation of the swedish words i deemed neccessary to translate):

camera 3.15 megapixelkamera

Mp3-player yes

support for mobile tv no

support for Telia Navigator (GPS) unknown

built in GPS yes

Radio yes

Videocalls no

microsd yes

Display Touchscreen, 3,5"

GPRS yes

Java yes

messages Sms, mms, e-post

net 3G/GSM900/1800/1900

call battery duration Upp till 4 h

standby batter duration Upp till 216

dimensions 116 x 56.5 x 11.8 mm

weight 130 g

connectivity Bluetooth, usb, WLAN, SatNav

Its a very interesting point you make. I would guess its as highly specced as the UK version, though as you can see there is no mention of detailed specs such as the mem, storage and cpu for instance.

Since Telia even market this product as an "Orange San Fransisco" I would be very astounded if they lied in their marketing.

Absolutely, I really think its the same speced device as well, but there site doesnt show all the details and wouldnt hurt to be certain.

Not sure about Telias Blade, but the Comviq one will have LCD not AMOLED, but it will have as much RAM as the SFO.

I do to, but when i was in the Telia Shop i took a sneak peak at the computer screen behind the counter. And if I saw correct it said TFT... And also I think I read on Swedroid that all new Blades was with LCD, but that I am not sure if it is a rumour or if it has a good source...

According to Telia's Blade product page and Comviq's official Facebook site, they both will be selling the 256mb ram version. That sucks. Comviq also writes that all carriers in Sweden will be selling that same budget version. AMOLED/LCD doesn't really matter to me, but with the lesser memory I guess most costom roms won't run?

Import a couple of SF's from the UK anyone? B)

Beware of the 256mb version. Less ram is no problem, only inconvinience, if you use your phone a certain way. The screen should not be the problem either. The screen type, LCD TFT is very well good in my book. But the screen quality of the 256mb version... well basically is trash. You do NOT want it, beleive me, especially if you can get the amoled version in your country.

What's even worse is that according to Telia, their Blade will have a resistive screen.

What's your source on that? I saw on prisjakt.se today that someone had filed an error report and suggested that the Blade has a resistive screen. But i find that a bit weird, since it's a multi touch device, at least it says so on Telias web page. I might be wrong, but I have never seen a screen with that combo. Then again, it might just be Telia that is getting it all wrong. Notice at least two faulty specs for the Blade in their current christmas product leaflet... http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/c5b5dc6e#/c5b5dc6e/39
