Guest RedSlug Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I updated from Steves Froyo 1.2 to 1.3 by just using the update.zip file. All seemed to go well. But I had so much crap on my phone I decided to do a factory reset for a clean start. Selected factory reset from the first boot menu. Now it's stuck on the Dell logo. Any ideas? Guest ren7o Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 If You did factory reset on 1.2 or 1.3 you must start from clean 1.1.1 no need to flash baseband again. Just install 1.1.1 let it boot and than 1.3 on top of it.
Guest RedSlug Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 OK, cool, I'm trying that now. Cheers.
Guest RedSlug Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 It worked. I thought for a moment it was stuck again, but it took a long time to boot!! Thanks a lot.
Guest ren7o Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I'm glad I could help

I started the factory reset process and after that the phone is not anymore able to go into the OS. Now, the phone is FLASHING an white screen followed by the "dell" LOGO. Do you have detailed instructions on how to reinstall the OS? Thanks, Octavian [email protected]
