How do I install 00 baseband (Unlocked EU) 1.6 on an O2 (21) Streak

My 02 (21) Streak is currently running 2.1 (8105) and naturally I'm eager for the official 2.2 release.

So I was wondering how I would go about changing my Streaks baseband and installing the 00 baseband version of 1.6? Is this even possible?

I know you can go the other way 00 to 2.1, but does the carrier lock prevent you from doing it on a locked handset?

I have tried to downgrade at&t version down to 00 and now it's stuck at dell logo. any pointers?

Do a factory restore once your down to 6267 and you should boot up. I've been down to this build with an AT&T Streak and no luck with getting the 2.2 update. My baseband read as xxxxxxxxxx00-US so I figure that's why I didn't get it.
