Factory Reset Pasword

Hi All,

Does anybody know the "Factroy Reset Password" for the Samsung Galaxy S GTi9000. I bought the phone off ebay and added an account that I now want to remove in the privacy settings. It is asking for the password, is there a general password like on Nokia phones "0000" or is it something that the previous owner has set.

Any help would be great.

I just picked up a second hand one (running 2.1), and factory reset it without a password prompt, so I guess it may be something the previous owner has set. Might be worth asking them?

Either that or there's a default password on the froyo ROMs.

Edit; nope, I just updated to froyo, and did a factory reset again - No password prompt. It must have been set by the previous owner.

I guess there might be a way around it, but easiest method would be to ask them.
