Guest Grayo20 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Hi All, Does anybody know the "Factroy Reset Password" for the Samsung Galaxy S GTi9000. I bought the phone off ebay and added an account that I now want to remove in the privacy settings. It is asking for the password, is there a general password like on Nokia phones "0000" or is it something that the previous owner has set. Any help would be great. Thanks Grayo20
Guest Stevos Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I just picked up a second hand one (running 2.1), and factory reset it without a password prompt, so I guess it may be something the previous owner has set. Might be worth asking them? Either that or there's a default password on the froyo ROMs. Edit; nope, I just updated to froyo, and did a factory reset again - No password prompt. It must have been set by the previous owner. I guess there might be a way around it, but easiest method would be to ask them. Edited November 16, 2010 by Stevos
