Handcent SMS (if LV doesn't catch the incoming message itself)

A cool watch app (if the built in watch-style is not cool enough)

A proper music controller (hope the compatibility issues will be addressed soon)

A GMail app would be cool. Like seeing the subject and sender of incoming mails.

Hopefully it will arrive soon.

An app which displays:

Current Moving Speed

Max Speed

Max Ascent

Max Descent

Grid Position

Panic (Find Me) button

Possibly linked to MyTracks

Used for Mountain biking, Cycling, Running, Snowboarding etc....

I would like to develop this myself though I'm awaiting the SDK *whistles*

I'd be looking for a GMail and K9-Mail announce-plugin in the first place.

I was kinda astonished, that all important notifications except for email(!) are there!

A navigation helper plugin would be nice too...

I'd mostly want media apps on it.

  • Audible
  • XiiaLive
  • MediaFly
  • TweetDeck

Would be cool to have for some danish public transport-apps as well.

    • TrainInfo DK
    • ByensPuls

Ok guys, what we don't know: is this "just" a bluetooth controller (where everything is happening on the phone and LiveView just displays it via BT), or does it have some kind of built in memory (i think there should be limited amount). If so, is it possible to debug, or even modify it? Because of the SDK I think that one cannot develop apps just plugins to existing apps to forward the relevant data into the controller.

Got mine today, and have to say, quite disappointed. The screen is great and works well, size is also great, but the music player doesn't work, and the function to open stuff on my phone (HTC Desire) just hangs the phone to the point I have to remove the battery!

Do they not test these things?

I don't think so.

That makes me sad.

Music controller "issue" was clearly stated on SE website, they just removed the explanation, but you'll find a * mark there.

I'm quite disappointed too. Music control doesn't work on my Galaxy S, I can change volume levels only... B)

There is still not too many apps which support it, I'd really like to have winamp controls support. And it drains my mobile's battery much quicker with bluetooth turned on all the time.

I thin i'm gonna sell it. :)

I don't understand you guys... battery consumption is a known thing... There's a radio (in this case BT) turned on... Of course it will drain the battery... Wifi is also a battery drainer, so as GPS.

Ok, check this link: SE LiveView.

There's a * there, but no explanation, which was removed - but I don't know why. I remember it was something like this: * music controlling is not compatible with this phone.
