What they say

This application speaks the track name and artist when playing using the Android or HTC media players. It's useful if you have a large music collection and cannot see the screen to check the names, e.g whilst exercising.

It uses the native Text-to-Speech capabilities of the device to speak.

Pro version is available

Recent changes:
- Speech volume is relative to the current music volume and you can
adjust it higher or lower.
- Option to reduce the music volume whilst speaking.
- Tidied up the preferences pane
- Added a reset options button
- Changed some event handling to reduce duplicate announcements with
Android 1.6

As the developer of this application, thanks for the review.

Regarding your comment on the need for the internet privilege, then this is required purely to serve adverts. The pro-version does not have this requirement.
