Cannot Install to any Apps

Hi I had an issue with my "r24 - MoDaCo Custom ROM Desire Port for Nexus One with Online Kitchen (2.2 / Froyo)" Rom not allowing me to install updates or new software over the last few days. This stumped me untill I found the solution online. Open up a terminal window then type the following commands.

su

rm /mnt/secure/asec/smdl2tmp1.asec
