Streak Froyo (Steve's 1.3) camera app issue

Hey all,

I can't seem to find any info on getting HD recording to work on Froyo. Previously the advice was to set the quality to Custom, the codec to MPEG 4, and res to 720p.

That never worked for me then, and it can't now: the camera app on 1.3 lacks the Codec selector! Still the same old lock-up, necessitating a reboot if I want to use the camera app again.

So how on earth is anyone getting 720p video recording to work on their Streak at present?
