Guest Harness Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) THIS IS THE OFFICIAL ROGERS ROM. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STUPID THINGS YOU DO RESULTING IN THE INABILITY TO USE YOUR PHONE ON ANY OTHER PROVIDER. Anyhow, now what that's out of the way. It's uploaded as update.zip, yes, I'm sorry for that. Rename it and flash it over a leak via Malez Recovery. Device information works, baseband looks to be the same, seems very snappy! No Acer UI though. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9FHZNQUG Devs, do as you will, credit me though please  I just worked for a few hours to get this to flash in Malez. Guest dennerjw Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) I'm just waiting for the EMEA before going through any flashing nonsense... It must be released sometime in the near future, and is likely what all future Froyo roms are going to be based on anyway  Edited November 17, 2010 by dennerjw
Guest Harness Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Nevermind, fixed. Re-uploading. Edited November 17, 2010 by Harness
Guest komienski Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 awesome work, can't wait to dl, just one question. I read somewhere that there is no acer ui. But does this have the status bar from acer ui? I really enjoy using that and the new lock screen with launcher pro.
Guest Harness Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Unfortunately no, as of now there is no Acer UI. I could possibly try porting it from the last leak though. That'll be tomorrow's task. Harness.
Guest oilers2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 tried this using nandroid and it works great. I can download all the apps I bought before (especially golfshot from shotzoom). only crummy part is that UI is the same before and the status bar is white, not black.

Guest jumran Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Can someone who upgraded from the latest Acer froyo leak confirm if there are any improvements or benefits from flashing to this version? It is strange that Rogers ROM does not have the Acer UI. Has anyone confirmed if the Acer UI is completely missing or if it is just not set as the default theme (since the leaks had both default Android and Acer UI)?
