Short answer; probably not. [no, as far as I know.]

Long answer; many of our developers in this community have figured out a work around (often because they themselves need to install the new fw's) to let Liquid E roms be installed on the Liquid. So eventually, when one of them gets around to it.

Acer won't release an official Froyo version for Liquid A1. Because Liquid has been upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1. Liquid E is upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 and no more upgrade.

For Liquid A1, if u want to have experiences with Froyo, u have to use a unofficial rom.

I think linking more people to the official Canadian ROM will cause more problems about the carrier lock.

Anyway the official Froyo for Liquid will be modified from the Liquid E as always, no? B)

I'm sure all of us will be using gingerbread from the liquid metal. or nexus one. Should be out in a few weeks.

gnigerbread from liquid metal maybe, nexus one not likely since it has very different hardware.
