Guest technaudio Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Right, over the past couple of days, the market hasnt been working, keeps FCing, Downloads wont start etc... So, cleared cache etc, uninstalled updates (only market) and tried again... still no joy. So following the advice on googles android market help, i did a factory reset, then the trouble started.... the phone rebooted with the shiny android boot image, which i thought a bit odd as the boot image before was a super mario, and original was the modaco one (using MCR r 8) i cant seem to get into clockwork recovery, or its not there, i get the blue android system recovery. also it says in yellow, E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
Guest volatile_ink Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Power-on whilst holding the 'back' button. Does this get you to the bootloader? If it does then your ok even if your recovery is 'fooked' as you can flash a new one via fastboot. AmonRa 2 is out.... Hope this helps.
Guest Frankish Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 I thought you could only flash stuff in fastboot on an S-OFF device!?

What you can try is go to settings and then applications. Find the market app en clear its cache and optionally also its data. That might help. Though you might lose some market links that way, so programs might not show in your downloads screen then anymore (not sure about that though, you can always make a nandroid backup first, before doing this) Remco
