Guest scoobydoo99 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 I've got the random reboot problem, the phone is unlocked and running FLB 1.5. It's not quite 12 months old so I'm wondering if I return it to one of the T Mobile roms, would they repair it under warranty - would they notice it's unlocked and would they then refuse to repair under warranty? Looking back over the forum, it looks like the fix is a new motherboard.
Guest Daz555 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Flash it back to stock and return it.
Guest darkdevil1 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) I'm pretty sure they'll just repair it. I dropped my phone which broke the display and backlight. Returned it to T-Mobile with stock rom and they even repaired that, free of cost B) Edited November 17, 2010 by darkdevil1
Guest scoobydoo99 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Sounds good, thanks chaps B)
Guest batch_2001 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I didn't (or rather couldn't) even flash my unlocked phone back to stock before sending back for repair. They still did. One thing though, they had to replace my main board = new IMEI = no longer unlocked. Unfortunately I couldn't get the repaired phone unlocked again as it wasn't in the unlockers database. Ended up buying a turbo SIM.
