Out the box faults?

Finally ordered one tonight as an upgrade to my faithful Pulse.

I'm planning to unlock as soon as I get it, but I'll hopefully check it out for faults before unlocking.

What faults should I look out for straight out of the box?

I was planning to register the £10 top up to try it out, but it looks like I've managed to get the phone for £99 as the top up was declined by Orange - phone went through ok though B)

Wifi, GPS, speakerphone (mine seems a bit dodgy), handsfree - the usual suspects. Oh, and some people have screens that are a little pink.

For most people, the main fault is that it's on Orange. But luckily that's easily fixed. B)

Other than that, there is a wifi issue which may or may not be connected to what router you have, and may or may not affect other Android phones on those or other routers. (Is that a bit vague?) If you do get hit by problems then there is some help around, like Blade Wifi Fix.

Another one bites the dust :)

The Pulse has lasted nearly 12 months and was an excellent intro to Android and modding, needs replacing now as it's suffering from the random reboots issue. Will probably get it sorted, hopefully under warranty, then keep as a backup. B)
