I hope somebody can help us!

At hungary we have a different version of the zte blade! Our ram is only the half of the original! 256mb :S and the screen is tft! But its a fair bargain for the price!

The question is why we can't run froyo! I have tried! With wipe without wipe with cache wipe... i have stucked always at the green android screen! Wait for 10 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes..nothing happend :S

If somebody know the answer please help B)

On the other hand, the hungarian ROM runs very well on the Orange San Francisco. But the Froyo ROMs have a different kernel so maybe it lacks some driver that the 256mb blade wants.

Because the Hungarian Blade has the (apparently) identical spec to the Chinese phone that was the 'donor' of the rom which is the parent ALL the 2.2 versions currently in circulation, I think it can safely be said that 2.2 can (and will) run on a 256mb machine.

While it is curious that the current 2.2 roms would not run 'out of the box' on 256mb, I do not believe that there is any fundamental barrier to using 2.2 on a Hungarian machine.

A little patience is going to be useful!

Your main problem is just to convince the developers that this an "interesting" problem. It may be a bit awkward to solve if the dev doesn't have a 256mb machine to play with ...

It is understood that the official 2.2 Chinese product will go on sale in about a month. With 256mb ...

That's the time you should get properly interested!

Do you have a working version of the Hungarian 2.2 rom Kallt?

No... Only a pimped up version of the 2.1 dump from the Hungarian blade.

Is there any chance I can get the original hungarian boot image you used, as I have the same phone in Greece, and trying to flash it with the boot image from SF made it stay into sleep mode after screen goes off for the first time after reboot.

I have made a backup with clockwork recovery, and have not made any changes to my original rom. If you can use that, I am happy to send it over.

I'm a noob with this topic so, not sure if that will work.

Send me a PM if you still need the boot image....

That should help. :P

Also note that kallt_kaffe is nearing completion on a 2.1 rom that should work nicely on both UK and Hungarian spec machines ...

....

Will start uploading RLS2. No more original kernel, custom one should work for everyone now. Also I think I may have managed to fix the wifi issue.
