make apps full screen?

hi! I'm running 2.2 (at long last - thanks to this forum!)

however there are some apps -particularly some games- that don't go full screen. This happened on 1.6 too, so I know its not the android version.

Is this the apps fault or the phone's? is there a fix for it?

change lcd density to 240

But wont that intefere with other things, like dell stage, which runs at 160? Im not talking about a black border im talking about apps being like a third of the screen, as though they would display correctly on smaller screens. Is thdre any way around that??

Contact teh autor of the app and tell them to pragram in proper scaleing... its the apps not the phone

ah thanks for the info. I'm hoping this will improve what with all the different sized android tablets coming out soon.
