HELP! MY LIQUID cannot be opened !

previously i have upgraded my liquid from android 1.6 to 2.1 without rooting

just now i try rooting and got screw up!

i downloaded the liquid usb driver

and then run liquid.alternate.superboot.bat under the bootloader mode

afterwards, my liquid showed the usual acer logo but the logo reappear ~ 8seconds later, and keep on looping

i have tried to run the standard superboot but my liquid responded by turning into complete dark screen

i have also run the partition checksum

it showed that only fail in the boot

so may i ask what can i do now?

i know i can reset into the initial factory setting, but i wont do it until the very end as i haven't done back up ever....i will lose all the contact, sms.....

is there a way to make the "boot" become normal again ?

If. contacts are attached to your gmail account you won't loose any.

I don't know much, but I'd assume you could boot into fastboot somehow (Have to find a guide elsewhere, I don't know how) and install Malez recovery, and through that fix the boot.img (assuming that's what's wrong, again, someone with more experience would have to help you here).

Just my guess, and what I'd try to do in that case.

now i have already been in the fastboot mode and install the latest malez recover

what should i do next to recover the boot.img ?

use vol- and cam buttons together and hold and then also press power, hold, wait for 3 vibrates, release, wait,,,: welcome to Malez recovery

i have already installed malez recovery thx

but how can i recover the boot (which said failed under partition checksum) ?

do i need to flash n update.zip to get a new boot.img ?

another question is that after using nandroid backup, will my personal information e.g. contact, sms, app installed be backup as well after using nandroid restores ?

a) ROM 2.1 for SD card:

Unzip this zip file to have update.zip and image folder

c) Insert a new SD card or your SD card to PC and format it

d) Copy update.zip and image folder to root folder of SD card

e) Insert SD card in your Liquid and follow up the SD card flash process ( as my last notice)

Is this for liquid a1 s100? or liquid-e. Cause this may solve my problems aswell. My liquid does not respond on any pc anymore except charging. no connection icons show up on the top left

It is used for either Liquid A1 or Liquid E. But it is only Eclaire not Froyo.
