dell streak

Please help have just installed steve hydes 2.2 rom have followed instructions on here word for word but i cant get it to reboot just get the dell logo the lights on the side flash and the dell logo flashes purple i could not unzip the recovery.alt is this needed? or maybe i have it in the wrong directory can anyone help please!!
