I've lost my original SF charger and thinking about using Kindle 3 charger for the same purpose. Kindle's charger got slightly bigger output - 850 mA instead of SF's 700. What's your opinion, can I use it without any harm?

850 mA is the maximum current that a device can draw through the charger. As long as the voltage is correct, and the device doesn't exceed the 850mA then it will be fine B).

+1. volts matter.

amps just determine how quick the charge actually happens.
