3883 Upgrade to 2.2

Hey

Love the site guys loads of good info .

Well my main issue i managed to get a new dell Streak yesterday locked on O2 which is no issue.

I have manged to flash clockwork mod for 3883 (1.6) and (Backup first tho) upgrade to 4399.

I have tried several other Rom off here to upgrade to 2.1 even the cooked kitchen ROM for 2.1 of this site with no luck. i might be stupid tho and causing the issue my self. All i get a Dell logo and it goes no further then i need to revert back to my 3883 back up.

all upgrades/Flashes have been clockwork mod tho. from 4399

is there major issue or am just a stupid

Ok did a factory reset. Still stuck on dell logo. My SDcard has been scrubbed as well so I have lost my backup.

I can still get in to clockwork tho. Flashed the 3883 Rom from the sticky on the forum . Did factory reset again still stuck on dell.

So what is the best thing to do . ? RMA or is the phone bricked

Are you doing the reset inside of clockwork? or are you doing it at the black and white menu prior to booting into clockwork?

It has to be at the black and white screen, it clears different necessary partitions that clockwork won't.

I was in the same situation. I just got myself a locked Streak on 3883. I upgraded to 8105. flashed clockworkmod and tried flashing the v1.2 for hyde's 2.2. I was stuck in the DELL screen. Did a lot of reading on various posts. I found that you cannot upgrade directly to v1.2 from 8105. I managed to download v1.1.1 and I was able to flash that successfully. I suggest you try doing that. Download, copy to sdcard and flash via clockwork mod. It works.
