Difference between DJ_Steve's version and Official version of Froyo

What is/are the basic difference/s between "Official" and "DJ_Steve's" version of Froyo?

I am running DJ_Steve's 1.3 at this moment.

little more tweaks here and there. nothing major really.

how do i get adw launcher installed. should would make this better

Not that I was going to try and install the Official version anyways but the reason I asked is coz in Dell Community and some other sites ppl are really anxious about getting Dell's official 2.2 update and pretty mad at Dell (which I personally donn blame them)

I was wondering why wouldn't they just go ahead n install Steve's ROM. I am pretty sure that its better than the official one.

Staves 1.3 is using a release kernel that might have more bugs, it is my understanding that its still a dell compiled kernel, and the overland is compiled by Steve, realistically they are probably very similar, staves build had stageui Adw, and launcher pro all preinstalled. There is no reason however that you can't simply install one of these launchers from the market for the dell build, by default the dell build will only have stageui (which its been mentioned, its more laggy, but easily replaced)

If you are on steves build and happy, keep it till he updates it.

If you are on 1.6 or 2.1, update to the official build.

In my personal view, Steve's build based on an un-official release, hence it maybe more buggy. Since the official has been released, we are waiting for a more stable build from Steve, then will use that one - I dont really like StageUI, just want a pure Android 2.2 with Launcher Pro.

You are right, I do exactly the same.

I wondering if Steve can share with us All modifications to reproduce it at home and work with him if we find another tweaks B)
