upgrade/downgrade and keep data and other questions

hi guys, ive had my streak now going on 2 weeks, got a killer deal on it and im loving it!

one of the first things i did after using it for two days was upgrade to 2.1, everyone was talkin about doing it so i did it lol.

i noticed a slight change in reliability, but i miss the keyboard from 1.6 even though alot of you hate it. i also miss the front camera and the way you could set individual wallpapers. all-in-all, i think i miss 1.6.

the problem is that ive already downloaded a few games and apps, and have saved some data into those games/apps and dont really feel like doing it again.

Is there a way to make a backup of 3rd party apps and data? i know this isnt a blackberry but on the blackberrys, theres an option to back up rms info which is anything third party apps save. to be honest, im mostly worried about my progress on angry birds lol

is there a way to get the original streak keyboard on 2.1 or 2.2?

what are major differences between 1.6,2.1 and 2.2? the only ones i see are the keyboard and live wallpapers, which i actually dont like

lastly, i called to get my streak unlocked, told at&t i bought it retail and didnt have an at&t account (even though i do). they gave me an unlock code and i walked over to tmo and borrowed a sim and voila.

anyway, its cureently running on a combination of 90% wifi and 10% mobile data, im using a prepaid sim with at&t gophone for 100 megs for 20 bucks, which i also talked at&t into giving me.

what is the cheapest prepaid GSM data i can buy? i dont make calls on my streak, just play games, surf the web and other stuff that uses internet
