Guest Winston69 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 The problem isn't really locking the screen I suppose as it does this automatically after screen timeout anyway, most of the power presses sre from unlocking the thing. But thanks anyway
Guest amd3000 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Been using this ever since i got my san fran http://www.appbrain.com/app/screen-off-wid...reen_off_widget Puts the screen to sleep thus saving pressing the button to do the same job. Also saves 50% wear and tear on the power button so its a bit of a winner all in all.
Guest Niks10 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Is it possible to unlock the screen without pressing the power button. Just want to minimise the wear on power button. Some times, if I press meny button, i can unlock the screen with unlock pattern and some times it does not do anything while pressing menu button and I have to use power button.
