Custom Battery icons Froyo

Has anyone figured out how to get custom battery icons working in any of the Froyo roms yet?

I'm using the FLB-Froyo G2 for ZTE Blade (Beta) rom and I had a go at it, but failed

I've figured out the icons need to be (I think anyway) in the drawable-hdpi folder inside the framework-res.apk instead of the drawable-hdpi-v4 folder

I'm guessing that the stat_sys_battery.xml and stat_sys_battery_charge.xml files need editing as well to reflect this? and maybe another one? again just a guess

but unfortunately I've no way of editing Android .xml files

Hopefully someone can get it working if it hasnt already been done

I presume your using the new Froyo rom?

I cant get them to work now I've moved onto Froyo, shame as it was great

I've tried everything, I can get he icons on the phone and they work, but to get the percentages of the battery just wont work, I've tried manually modifying the framework-res.apk by taking the battery xm;'s from another froyo rom but that dont work, it just makes the battery icon disappear totally

Hopefully someone can figure out how to get it working with the r3 Froya
