Superuser permissions - setcpu doesn't run

I am not sure why i can't get some root apps to run like StreakLED and SetCPU.

I have rooted the device with universal root (had to do it twice to get it working)

But still no luck. any ideas?

Had same issue, unroot with universal androot (may have to run it twice), reboot and root again worked here.
