Upgrade path to 2.2 with 3833 build and GAUSB1A110421?

Newbie alert and first post B)

I've been browsing and searching the forum for several weeks about upgrade options, prior to getting my Streak yesterday.

As the title says, I'm running a Streak with 3833 build and GAUSB1A110421 baseband. All of the guides I've seen don't specifically state how to upgrade to 2.2 from this configuration, so I thought I would simply ask what aspects of the published upgrade posts do I need to change in order to get to 2.2? In other words, what do I need to upgrade/downgrade to in order to most easily follow the upgrade guides already published?

As noted, I haven't stated what 'version' of 2.2, so am open to recommendations from people way more experienced than me!

Im in same position after getting my phone refurbished from dell... Cant even seem to boot into any of the recovery img's.. :S

to go to the official 2.2 or steves?

homeiss wrote a very detailed step by step guide to get you to steves 1.2 etc.. once you are there you can just use clockwork to update the the latest 1.4.1 zip or you can use fastboot to flash the individual images posted by mr hyde ( I have always wondered what his Dr. Jekyll must be like )

you are going to need to use 2 guides, and do it incrementally, there is a update.zip of the official floating around but I have not tried it myself.
