Guest mrmrmrmr Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 My question is to people who are running the official Dell Froyo release. Do you have apps to follow Outlook Tasks and Outlook Notes on the applications drawer ? The official 1.6 and 2.1 releases had such applications which were synced with Dell Sync to the Outlook on your PC. New release from Steve doesn't have such apps. I wonder if the official Froyo does have...
Guest moneytoo Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I tried that. Only contacts from Outlook can be synchronized using the Nero/Dell suite. There are no options for calendar/tasks/notes. BTW: You may take a look here: http://www.syncdroid.net/ - list of Outlook sync tools for Android. CompanionLink may be suitable replacement (but not free).
Guest mrmrmrmr Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I already have Companionlink and I use it without any problems. But I'd prefer a native solution. As the original 1.6 and 2.1 Dell had tasks/notes sync I had thought that 2.2 would also have that. Don't you have the "Outlook Tasks" and/or "Outlook Notes" applications on official 2.2 ?
Guest Pceasar Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) I think dell seeked to replace this option in 2.2 with the free Evernote, the items in question no longer exist in the office build Edited November 21, 2010 by Pceasar
Guest mrmrmrmr Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 in this case,it is best to go with Companionlink +Dejaoffice These two supply all possible options.
