Home/ Back buttons - changing function

Hi, I haven't even got my San Francisco yet, but already obsessing over it! B) What I am wondering is if there is a way to change the function of the physical home/back buttons to become dial number/hang up function buttons, then I could get some green/red stickers or something?? I know it may make it look a bit tacky, but I feel I would get on with it really well if it was configured like this.

Any way to do it?

There are keylayouts in /system/usr/keylayout that I believe you modify to get that behaviour but I doubt the phone will be very useful without the "back" button. But if you can live without the volume buttons those could also be remapped.

Thanks, yeah I didnt think that far ahead! Good to know it is possible though, if I wanna have a fiddle with it sometime.
