Dell uk have just posted on facebook that the eu unlocked streaks should receive ota starting 22 /11am

And o2 on the 26/11

Lets see if some if there's some different bugs in these builds B)

26th probably means 29th...and 29th probably means Dec....and Dec probably means....??..lol

@stephenjatdell: It's not 100%, but plan is to begin 2.2 OTA for unlocked EU Streaks on Monday (22/11). As with any plan this could change.

I am having a nightmare on the 2.2 00-EU Build 11548. Loads of bugs especially the orientation fault.... if I enable auto-rotate, the landscape screen is upside down. (and generallt has a mind of it's own) B) Only deactivating auto-rotate "fixes" it, but locks it to normal landscape only.

Think i am going to switch to an 02 version, if i can work out how, when they are released. At least then I can give my Streak back to o2 is it is a hardware fault. (that would be my fourth) Although I am sure it is a bug, which no one else seems to have. My Streak ran brilliantly on the leaked o2 2.1

what baseband version do you ned to be on to get the official O2's ? is it "21" ?

is there a link to the EU 00 upgrade yet ? or are you mistakenly using the 309_0_00 which is aimed at ATT beta devices? :)

o2 do have some customization usually, albeit light. There is also those extra bits for stage ui that engadget showed, although for the extra 5 mins of playing time before reverting to launcherpro they may not make much difference. B)

thats the US ATT version for beta streaks. if you look at the build,prop it says so

there's also partitions missing that should be flashed that are included in the pkg

personally i think Steve's build is WAY better than dell's..they should be focusing on a release for gingerbread..but if they took long with froyo..imagine gingerbread..

Fards, which version do you recommend I go on to, to enable me to get the official 02 release when it come of out? I was previously happy on the leak o2 2.1, but I don't think that will get the OTA uodate. No too sure how to get off this 00 baseband either, i'll look into that

2.1 8105 should get update.. its an official O2 build after all.

I'd imagine there will be lots of very unhappy o2 customers if they didn't get it after being stuck with a buggy pos like 8105 B)

I did the same thing this weekend - was not happy with 11548: GAUSB1A130900-EU due to camcorder FC and website 'too many server direct issues' etc. Went back to 8105 official O2 - tbh does exactly what I need it too (I previously had the leaked 2.1 update) and no major issues for what I need.

I also got the update notification when I was on the leaked 2.1 a month or two back to go to official 2.1 from O2 when it was released...

8105 is available in Stephen's post '19/Aug - Streak 2.1 downloads / how-tos (ROM / Superboot / Recovery)' - that's the one I have running now (8105, GAUSB1A120621-EU 2.1 update 1).

I note that Stephen has fixed the FC on camcorder now but waiting for Dell/O2 to sort out the website redirect issue with stock browser - until then safe from brickitis on 8105 B)
