Yes, it does.

I have just tried it with the official hungarian 2.1 update. I got root access, and then i managed to install rommanager, then to flash clockwork recovery. Then i restored my backup of my original system. I like it B) But kinda useless IMHO on our phone considering FLB and CM :)

I also tried it with official "normal" firmware on my U8230. It's really works! Now we can work with all mods and firmwares without connection to pc. It also be useful if someone has broken usb port or cable.

not so useless for broken usb port pulses like mine, now i finally have rooted, and maybe can install flb trought rom manager :D

As far as i can remember it was listed in the compatibility list, it should work with 8230 also.
