Its offical there is a android 2.2 beta rom for the gt540 and from what i have read on the devloper are booting the rom from the sd card

THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR OFFICIAL ROM. OFFICIAL ROM ARE CREATED BY LG, NOT BY RANDOM DEVELOPERS.

its an UNRELEASED cooked ROM that's NOT available to public as the developer is still testing and tweaking it[its probably still in its pre-alpha state]....

Sorry guys i didnt mean it was an official Lg release i meant that there is an official android 2.2 that may be compatible with are handsets, i no the rom is in the testing stages sorry for poorly titled thread i done it last night when i was half sleeping lol
