headphones mode problem

so the thing is, I was listening to some music on my gt540, with the headphones plugged in, but then i plugged them out and the phone still thinks they are in.

now the problem here is that I can't talk to anyone cause the headphones are on

i mean... i can if I acctually plug them in, but well... that's not my thing B)

i have a rooted 2.1 and i've tried turning it off and on again if that's what you're thinking

Try taking the battery out then rebooting?. Or a hard reset.

nope, still nothing

could it be something hardware related?

looks like it was hardware related, but with clever use of poking around with a needle pin, i fixed it B)
