3g service - vodafone uk

I have unlocked and removed the standard orange apps.

I have set up a Vodafone APN and can get wen via my wifi at home

But I cannot get remote web access via 3g

I dont ever see the G signal up the top toolbar .

Any ideas what I should try.

My apn details

vodafone GPRS

APN = INTERNET

PROXY = 212.183.137.012

PORT = 8799

USERNAME = WEB

PASSWORD = WEB

SERVER NOT SET

i can receive mms messages

MMS HTTP;//MMS.VODAFONE.CO.UK/SERVLETS/MMS

PORT 8799

MCC 234

MNC 15

AUTH TYPE = nonw

apn type = mms

Anyone know the settings if you don't want to doit through internet,

By thatI mean the old way with a normal phone.

I haven't got theinternet connected to my SF so how would I set up the MMS settings.

I didcheck out the voda site, butit wanted make/model so SF is obviously not on there.

Any advice gratefully received
