Guest carkev Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 hi, does anyone know if it is ok to use a screen protector on an OLED screen ? I have just bought my first Android - an Orange San Francisco and would like to protect it. it has a 3.5" capacitive OLED screen at 480x800, 256k. I have searched ebay with no joy, and a search on the superb GSM Arena website for Andriods with such screens only comes up with the LG Optimus Q as having the same screen. it does show a few others, but with TFT screens I am baffled as to whether I actually can and should use a protector, and if so would one for TFT be ok. any help would be really appreciated.
Guest Polythene Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Screen protectors are just sticky sheets of plastic, so they will 'work' on anything. Common thought is the screen protectors for the Samsung i900 Omnia fit perfectly.
Guest carkev Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 thanks a lot ... I feel better now ! it's just that being on an old WinMo phone for so long I was concerned about the newer, better screens
