Guest Paul Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Welcome to 'Paul's App of the Day', where I pick one of my favourite apps as featured app of the day! Today's app is... Chrome to Phone What they sayGoogle Chrome to Phone lets you easily share links, maps, and currently selected phone numbers and text between your computer running Chrome and your phone. You also need to install the Chrome browser extension on your computer, which can be found by searching for 'Chrome to Phone' at http://chrome.google.com/extensions/ What we say One of those 'must haves'... but one of those 'must haves' that you might not know about. I was chatting to a very Android knowledgeable friend this week and mention C2P, to which he responded with blank looks. Guest andycqos Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Does it do more than Opera sync? Now that Opera Mobile is available, all my bookmarks, history etc are synced between my desktop browser (wherever I log in) and Opera Mobile
Guest Chronic404 Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 I have a Desire running Froyo, i used to have Chrome to Phone, and had my googlemail account registered with it, i upgraded my pc version to Fox to Phone, since i use Firefox, and since i did, i cannot get it to link, it tells me i cannot log in using a Google Apps account, but i cannot change my log in details, nor can i seem to reinstall it and make it forget those details... any ideas?
Guest Pinko_Commie Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 There's also now a firefox extension called FoxToPhone which uses the ChromeToPhone api, so you can have the same functionality in Firefox.
