Hello all! Thanks in advance for you help.

Using the online kitchen I downloaded a custom 2.2 ROM and when I try to "Flash zip from sdcard" from the RA-heroc-v1.5.2 custom recovery image, I get the following:

Verifying update package...

E:Wrong digest:

system/build.prop.nopassword

E:Verification failed

Installation aborted.

If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!

did you make sure your download was signed?

Unfortunately no. I just assumed whatever the online kitchen spit out would be ready to go. Part of the file name contains "unsigned". How do I go about making sure that it's signed?

The file name is: "221110-1836-2.2-update-heroc-modacocustomcustomrom-unsigned-MD5-92988ad9c23ed43122f9469f7686723e.zip"

there's a little checkbox somewhere on the kitchen (i think it's near or around the bake button) that you need to tick before you bake it.

I had the same trouble when doing mine.

it seems some recovery screen's need the ROMS to be signed. B)

Hmmm, I don't see any options for signing in the kitchen. Any other ideas?

Thank you again for your help.

see attached

It looks like that's for the GSM only. The HTC Hero CDMA kitchen doesn't have that option. B)
