Guest Ace Faith Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) Hello Modaco Forum! This being my first post, I present to you something I found in this blog: http://www.chrislowthian.co.uk/how-to-unlo...francisco/1824/ It specifically links to a website that could unlock a ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco, with a few extra instructions. Now, I don't own a ZTE yet, because it hasn't been released yet in Sweden (but rest assured it's gonna be soon!), but I was wondering if anyone here needing to unlock their Blade could try using this website? It seems relatively legitimate, considering it offers free unlocking to many phones besides the ZTE brand. I tried with my SE's IMEI, and it spat out an 8-digit code. Here be instructions to getting the unlock code from the website: 1: Enter the IMEI 2: Leave the Service at "ZTE" and Model at "ZTE BLUEBAND" 3: Enter the not-a-robot code 4: Retrieve and save the unlock code it outputs 5: Put in your desired SIM-card (the one the phone wasn't supplied with) 6: The phone will ask for an unlock code. Input the code the website spits out in step 4. Greatest apologies if it does not work, but kindest regards if it does! Cheers, Ace Faith Edited November 22, 2010 by Ace Faith
Guest StevenHarperUK Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 This topic has an already extensive thread http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...e-unlock-codes/
Guest Arr Too Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 It specifically links to a website that could unlock a ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco, with a few extra instructions. Instructions lifted verbatim from the original post here (with no source link...). I suppose it's not surprising to be getting re-posts of the info, since it's not in the (or a) sticky thread and it keeps falling off page 1 of this forum!
