Call waiting notification using Froyo and Rebel SIM

Had a search though apologies if I've missed it. I upgraded to stock 2.2 and had call waiting notification though Rebel SIM issues with v1.3 firmware has forced me back to v1.1.1. Does anyone else using Rebel have call waiting notification? I get nothing, call eventually goes to voicemail and I hate retrieving VM, not sure why.

If you have a Rebel SIM, which version firmware, Froyo and baseband are you using and does call waiting notification work?

Also, is anyone using v1.3(Rebel) successfully?

Desperately trying to satisfy myself the Streak is a worthy upgrade to my San Francisco but the San Francisco works without the bugs.
