Guest Nielzs Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Hello everybody, I'm a happy Pulse owner running J-MOD v1.4. But every once in a while i reinstall/reflash my ROM including the bookmarks in the default android webbrowser. Question: is there a fast way of deleting all those bookmarks at once? instead of doing it one by one? Greetz Niels
Guest SpankyHam Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 (edited) Now this is just a theory, could go all Pete Tong, but you could try opening terminal and typing: su sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.browser/databases/browser.db "DELETE FROM bookmarks;" *Edit* Might have to change the path depending where the browser db is stored on your phone. Guest Nielzs Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 @Spankyham Thanx for the reply! @Everybody else: Can somebody confirm SpankyHam's theory? I don't want to mess up my phone right now and do a complete reinstall of the ROM again..

Guest Nielzs Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Would like to know how to delete them one by one! Open the standard android browser, click menu button, tap bookmarks. press and hold a bookmark listed here, then press delete. A lot of actions if you've got to delete about 20 bookmarks or so.. :-(
