Guest edwardblum Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 HI There, Speaker on the phone has recently stopped working and my phone is now cutting out mid way call. Thought my time was up until fonesafe (tmobile insurers) said that tmobile had 24 month warranties with all there phones. So off I went to the tmobile store. She looked at the phone and on the back of the phone on the top left was litmus paper that had turned red, therefore the phone had been in contact with water. Is she correct ? If so I will have to take it back to fonesafe. Anyone had any dealings with fonesafe?
Guest craigb244 Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 maybe, maybe not,,, most phones have a pure white paper with the ink behind that leaks thru onto the white when it gets wet. the pulse on the other hand has a white paper with a line of ink down the middle. so if you look at the paper and it has a red line down the middle and white strips down each side,,, then all is good B) at the end of the day if you know its never been dropped in water then it will be fine... these are not like iphones that only need to get damp or used in the rain for the paper to show water damage
