Dunno, didn't update it yet B) i'm still on the 2.1-upd 1 which I got from the store here in Holland, just waiting for the official update via the dell site: http://mobileupdate.dell.com/?version=GAUSB1A121100

Many thanks for this info.

Why there is NO UPDATE for my sim-free streak, GAUSB1A111100-EU Android 1.6 Build 6767. Why was the link removed?

Well it was Dell who deleted or renamed the update (probably an old update):

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Yes.

But it erases all data.

Update All recovers all your installed market apps.

Steve's untouched 2.2 is build 11548 with baseband GAUSB1A!30900-EU but you can also get the build 12332 with a higher baseband. does anyone know the difference between the two?

If you flash first with the 00 recovery.img (Fards 309 recovery.img works great) then you can flash any of these official 2.2 roms with a 00 baseband. For some reason that is over my head, whether you have successfully installed 2.2 baseband 00 or not, somewhere in there it reverts back to 21 or 31. BUT, if you flash with the 00 recovery.img first, it will take any of the 2.2 00 roms. I've tried both 309 and am currently running 315. Which has no problems yet. Good 720p video, good wifi, good bluetooth voice dialing, no FC's or shutdowns...

I have the same question...

I've tried 309 and 315 and 309 has AT&T replacing the Downloads tab in the Market app so I guess 309 is AT&T branded? I did not try any of the features AT&T would normally disable (like tethering) but I am going to revert to 309 and do some testing...

I have a couple of subscription-based apps which use redirects to Google for sign-in credentials and these worked on 309 but not with 315. When I revert I will test tethering and attempt to note any other differences.

I am bumping this back to the top to ask for some help... I have searched on the topic and have not found anything definitive.

Browser redirects to Google for account sign-in on 315 (12332) are not working but did on 309 (11548). For example, go to www.services.avilution.com/ss in your Android browser. This should allow you to sign-in to Google (through a redirect; this page is for subscribers to log into Avilution's server-side services).

Furthermore, I was able to flash from 309 to 315 easily enough but have not been able to revert back to 309. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
