HTC G2 unlocked Network Issue.....anyone else?

I have a friggin 400$ Brick people! The deal is this......I SIM unlocked my phone in order to use it with multiple carriers, The unlock code coming from T-mobile. I currently own a G1 ( and have had a few) and have not experienced this problem. What's going on is that, once i put the SIM unlock code in, and then put in say...a cincinnati bell SIM card.....I get no service(Network)..at all. So I then put back the original T-mobile SIM and it Still gets NO service, where I DID have service with my T-mobile SIM. This all happens when I "search for networks". The other issue I get is that I cannot save any....any APN settings at all. I can put them in, but when I go to save them....Bam, it comes up blank in the APN list. It just dissapears. I basically have a Brick for a Phone, though everything else functions normally. I have been researching android forums and have come to find I am not alone. Not only do I have one G2, but I now have two. Any help would be great on this issue. Thanks for your time

If anyone has any info or a fix for this I would also like to know... I'm having the exact same issues... except mine is saving the APN now, I put in Koodo's APN settings and then go to "Network Operators" and it only comes back Rogers Wireless... What the hell..
