Download unsuccessful

Hi everyone!

I finally could root my u8220 with z4root so i can install mods, i couldn't have done it before because my faulty USB connector. I can charge it, but thats it. Last "service" made a pretty hack job, long story short the USB is a charger now.

Thats where my trouble comes. Im not the "can't do" type, google IS my friend. So, rooted the phone, installed CM6 via CW recovery, all went smooth. Wiped data and all the such. At first i truly was amazed by the mod, its just WAY faster. However, after trying to download my apps from the market, i was kinda shocked. Every single time i try to download an app, i get the "download unsuccessful" message.

Even before the mod, i had trouble using the market, it always got stuck on "Starting Download", but that could be fixed by messing around with GTalk. This one looks pretty sticky.

I've already tried clearing the cache, both of the updater and the market itself, didn't do any good.

Halp mah pleaz!!!on1!!!

Thanks in advance!

PS: This mod really IS fast! Is FBL a quickie like this?

PS2: Also, hai there. First post is a request post ;p

PS3: The date/time is set correctly!

I used to get the same problem all the time, very annoying..

My solution was to delete the cache AND data for Market and Download Manager. Just clearing the cache didn't seem to fix it for me.

Secondly, I personally wouldn't install the FLB 2.2 rom. The one done by Richard_Arkless is so much better. You can get it from his post Here

Thanks for the reply, looks like it was a server-sided thing. Market works fine now.

However, my Pulse reboots everytime after the downloading finishes and it'd start to install. Any clues?

I had this problem, my phone would restart everytime the app began to install. I flashed gappstiny instead of gapps after CM and that seemed to do the trick. I have no idea if this appears stupid or unecessary but it worked for me so I'm happy!
